Panel Submissions for Mizuumi Con 10 are now OPEN!
Panelists MUST be at least 16 years of age. If you are under 18, you are required to fill out our parent/guardian consent form which will be e-mailed to you upon request. If you do not send us this form with your parent/guardian signature, your panel will be denied. If you have falsified this document and lied about your age, you will be blacklisted from hosting panels, even you turn 18.
Panelists must show a valid form of ID upon badge pick up. Panelists who do not show ID will not receive their badges.
Panel submission guidelines:
We are no longer accepting Character Q & A Panels. If you would like to host a character meet-up, you may e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with that request. Please note that this is NOT a panel and you will still be required to purchase a standard membership badge should you choose to host one of these.
Although we will have standard tech equipment in each panel room, please do not assume that we will have adaptors/tech for your specific set up. We will have our standard HDMI and VGA input, but if you require any special equipment/adaptors, please bring your own as we cannot insure that we will have them available for you.
Panelists who canceled a month in advance of our previous convention will be on a special review status.Panelists who cancelled within one week of our last convention will not be eligible to host a panel for Mizuumi Con 10. You are more than welcome to come as an attendee, but you will not be eligible paneling until our next convention. *Please read more about this below in our cancellations section.*
If you no call/no show to your panel you will be blacklisted as a panelist. You will be eligible for membership as an attendee but you will not be eligible to host panels or meet-ups at future conventions with our organization.
Please be as thorough as possible in your description of your event. The more descriptive you are, the more likely you are to get approved as a panelist. Please also use proper grammar and spelling as it appears more professional and will make a better impression on the staff reviewing your submission.
We understand that life happens. If you are unable to make your panel, please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Cancellations within a month of the convention will result in the panelist being placed on special review for the next year’s convention date. This does not mean that your panel is being denied, it simply means that we will be reviewing each situation on a case by case basis.
If you cancel within a week of the convention date, you will be placed on a probationary status for the following convention meaning that you will not be eligible to host a panel until the following event. Although we are understanding that life happens, last minute cancellations are a huge detriment and result in us having to scramble around to find a replacement for your panel. It also results in our schedules no longer reflecting accurate information and confusion in our attendees who have paid their hard earned money to be at our convention.
No call no shows will result in being permanently blacklisted from paneling at the convention. You will be welcome to attend as a member, but you will no longer be eligible to host events.
Idol Groups/Musical Guests/Special Performers
If you are interested in performing, you MUST provide us with an example of your work. Performers who do not give us a sample of their work upon submitting their panel will be denied.
For first time performers, please send us a bio and a thorough description of you/your group and what you will be performing. We welcome newcomers and are honored that you chose us to be your first convention to perform at!
* If you do not show up for your scheduled performance, you will be blacklisted from hosting any future events at Mizuumi Con.

Cosplay guests are NOT automatically on the cosplay contest panel of judges. Cosplay contest judges will be handpicked by our Cosplay Show Coordinator, Andy. If you would like to be involved with the Cosplay Contest, please e-mail them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
